No, only full domains can be put up for rent or adoption here.

i know this is probably off topic but i never heard of rent a domain. how does that work?

Renting a domain is also known as adopting, fostering, and borrowing. You allow someone to use a domain without selling it to him/her; meaning you retain ownership.
